Job Summary

Software System Engineer M/F

We are looking for a Software System Engineer M/F to support the software team in delivering medical device software fulfilling quality and compliance requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quality and compliance for a full software(s) release cycle and managing complexity of software in a multi-disciplinary set up.
  • Work with Project Leaders, System and Software architects and developers to identify and manage software as a system design, requirements and specifications.
  • Apply and facilitate Design for software Safety, Quality, Reliability and Testing (DfX) best practices in development projects according to applicable medical device standards.
  • Support and execute software risk identification activities, e.g. facilitate flow down of system risk management plan, usability, and contribute in Software Design FMEA, fault tree analysis.
  • Monitor and ensure that the requirements and design are implemented correctly by the Agile Release Train.
  • Complying to all applicable medical standards / regulations such as CE (EU-MDR), FDA and support regulatory submissions activities.
  • Contribute to future studies, technical concepts, and program roadmap.
  • Manage impact assessment, complaint investigations and resolution.

 

Profile
  • Graduate of a MS Degree in Engineering or equivalent you also have minimum 5 years of experience in designing and developing medical software.
  • You have a good knowledge of IEC standards, risk management, verification, and validation of medical devices.
  • You have a good technical knowledge of design control processes for medical device design.
  • You have a system thinking mindset and domain expertise in the related area.
  • Your communication skills are excellent.
  • You are a good team player.
  • You are recognized for your leadership skills and drive for results.
